How do I adjust the spring pressure on my Asgard Angle Heads?

If you own either the Asgard AH30-AD 3" Angle Head or AH35-AD 3.5" Angle Head, adjusting the spring pressure is easy. Both of these Angle Heads feature two tension springs and spring adjustment cams that can release the pressure of one of the two tension springs. Simply engage the cam in order to release the pressure of the spring.

It's very common for drywall finishers to relieve the pressure on one of the tension springs when using corner finishers to embed internal corners. When applying the final or finish application, both tension springs are usually engaged to produce a perfectly feathered edge and finished corner.

You can also engage just one side of the spring adjustment cams to help compensate for internal corners that are slightly out of square or need more (or less) joint compound on one side of the corner compared to the other.
