Why does my corner finisher cut the tape when I use it?

If your TapeTech corner finisher is cutting the tape in your internal corners, the problem may be that the tape was not fully rolled into the corner with the corner roller, leaving a slight radius in the tape. If this is not the case, be sure you are not applying too much pressure to the corner finisher, forcing it too far into the corner. Finally, if you have a new TapeTech corner finisher, the blades may have a very sharp corner that could be cutting the tape. The blades are sharp to produce the clean, crisp inside corners that make your work look so professional. But if the tape is being cut, you can use sandpaper to very slightly round the corner of the blade and prevent cutting.
